It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bart on August 5, 2021 at the age of 78, after a short courageous battle with cancer. Bart was the beloved husband of Barbara Hodgson-Medd and predeceased by Dianne Medd (nee Lethangue). Family was his pride and joy. Loving father to Kimberly (Leslie), Dwayne (Lois), and Karen (Don). Proud papa of Shaughnessy, Kourtney, Griffen, Darby, Alivya, Zachary, and Delaney. Great-papa to Lincoln, Rhett, Bennett, and Baby Mason on the way. Predeceased by parents James and Violet Medd. Surviving siblings Brad (Jackie), Victoria (late Roger), and Steven (Sandi). Retired GM employee of 35 years. Bart will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Ida. In memory of Bart, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
