MEDD, Violet Oris - A wonderful lady who has moved in to her new mansion in heaven.Vi left Elford house in Victoria Manor on Tuesday September 3, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Vi lived a very productive life living in Millbrook with her husband James Orville (Joe).As well as raising her family, Vi was active in the Girl Guides becoming a Commissioner for a number of years. Her working career involved Eatons, Docon Telephone and the Millbrook post office.She had a wonderful talent for sewing and knitting and was always ready to help those in need. Vi leaves behind her children James Bradford ( Jackie), Frederick Barton (Barbara), Victoria Alice (Roger) Fowler,and Steven (Sandra).In all 11 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren. Many thanks to all the caregivers at Victoria Manor who looked after Vi for so many years. You are all truly special!
