Enlisted June 23, 1924 and separation date was January 31, 1946. Tours of duty included the Panama Canal Zone departing July 25, 1927 from Brooklyn Army Base with 308 others on US Army transport St. Mihiel and Northern Ireland May 11, 1942 to October 23, 1942. Arlie retired from the US Army as a Staff Seargent.
Both he and his wife Neola N. (DeLapp) Aleshire are buried in the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery.
