Catherine B Gahan, Eau Claire, died Monday, Aug 15, 1994, at Friendship Manor Group Home in Eau Claire. She was born in Stanley to John and Margaret(Pinter) Knar and married Andrew J Gahan in Waukon, Iowa. Mrs Gahan taught grade school in the Tomahawk area and in Altoona.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Thompson; three grandchildren, Dr John (Sheri) Korolewski, David Korolewski, and Joni(Mark)Schlicht and five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Margaret Orndorf and Marie Knar; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother and a son-in-law, Dr Lee Thompson.Mass of Christian burial was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Eau Claire, with the Rev Eugene Klink officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Town of Washington. Prock Funeral Home, Eau Claire, handled arrangements.
