Immigrated with his wife Anna, daughter Louise and sister Appolonia(Gwizdala) April 22, 1882. Married about 1874 in Poland. He was the widower of his devoted wife Anna Rosa(Block). His loving children Sophie, Stanley, William, Louise, Anna and Frances. Dear son of Joseph and Anna(Sztela)Pietruszewski. Brother of Appolonia and Anna(Karbowski). Jacob was a Blacksmith all his life. He was a big man with giant hands. Almost reminded me of "Lurch" of the TV show, The Adam's Family. Resided at 1000 S. Monroe Street. The home and property was given to granddaughter, Angeline(Maciejewski). Passed away at Anna Rezler's home at 508 Sheridan Street. Anna was the death certificate informer.

Cause of Death: Pneumonia/Chronic Myocarditis
