Daisy Mae Abbett, 78, of Greeley, Co died May 13, 1957 at Weld County General Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1879 at Kirkwood, MO. She was married August 22, 1895 at Slater, MO to William D. Stewart, who died in Greeley in 1925. She and George W. Abbett were married in 1926. He died in Greeley in 1951.

Mrs. Abbett came to Greeley in January, 1917 and had lived here since. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert H. (Marie) Browne of Greeley; two grandchildren, William R. Browne of Albuquerque NM, and Mrs. Martin L. Smith of Greeley; and four great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Houser of Lincoln, MO; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Holloway of Sedalia, MO and Mrs. Sue Arnold of Warsaw, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tues, May 14, 1957 at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery. Brought to you by: Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services
