Webster - December 10th, 1918
The community was surprised
Thursday morning to learn of the death of Adelbert Boughton,a highly esteemed citizen, at his home on Main street. His death followed an illness of three days of grip which developed into bronchial pneumonia, Wednesday night.
Deceased was born in the town of Webster,
and had lived here all his life with the
exception of three years spent in the town
of Rush on a farm. He was a member of Webster Maccabee Lodge and also of Webster Grange.
Those who survive him are his wife Fannie
and daughters, Lois and Fern Boughton,
and two brothers in the West. The
funeral which was private, was held
from his late home Monday afternoon.
Rev. C. H. Brown officiated. Interment
was made in Webster Rural cemetery.
