STEUBENVILLE - Charles Pletcher, 62, of Steubenville and Bloomingdale, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Catherine's Care Center, Steubenville. He was born in Huntington, W. Va., the son of the late Creed Pletcher and his surviving mother, Rebecca Whitt Martin of Willisamson, W. Va.Pletcher had beent he hardware manager for Treasure Island. He had also worked as a sales representative for Scott Lumber in Steubenville and Lowes. He is survived by, in addition to his mother, his wife, Darla Gaffney Pletcher of Bloomingdale; three daughters, Tara Pletcher of Morgantown, W. Va.; Jennifer Conti of Tennessee; and Amy Pletcher of Pittsburgh and one son, Paul Pletcher of Williamson. At Pletcher's request, there will be no visitations or funeral service. Final disposition will be held privately. Arrangements were through the Blackburn Funeral Home, Hopedale.
