Emeral "Cal" M. Callander 77, of 23783 W. Edison Road, died Sunday morning in the Detroit Receiving Hospital of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Callander and his wife were in the Detroit area visit in friends.
He was born Jan. 8, 1913, in Syracuse, and lived in the South Bend area most his life. On Aug. 9, 1956, in South Bend.
He married Dolores "Peggy" I. Bruce. She survives with two daughters, Barbara Druelinger of South Bend and Connie Stratton of Denver; a son George of South Bend; three grandchildren; a sister, Betty Byers of South Bend; and a brother, Pete of South Bend.
He was the former owner of the Calho Fence Co.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday
in Southlawn Cemetery. There will be no visitions. Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Tract Society, in care of the Hati Fund. in Independence, Mo. Arrangements are being made by the Guisinger Colonial Chapel.
