Randolph A. "Scotty" Adam, 87, a nine-year resident of Warren, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, in Bortz Health Care Facility, Warren. He was born Oct. 24, 1919, in Dundee, Scotland.
Mr. Adam was employed as a water softener for Culligan. He resided in Madison Heights from 1952-97. He loved to watch sports, stock cars and race tracks, and was a big Detroit Tigers fan. He served in the British Army for six years during World War II.

Mr. Adam is survived by his son, Randy Adam; step-children, Bert Mason, Harold Mason, Art Mason and Bob Mason; granddaughter, Angeline (David) Misenar; and great-granddaughter, Madelyn Grace.

He was predeceased by his wife, Grace, in 1972; four brothers; and two sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at E.J. Mandziuk and Son Funeral Directors, 22642 Ryan Road (one block south of Nine Mile Road), Warren. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy.
