Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church Sunday for Mrs. M. W. Brice, who died in North Birmingham Saturday. Mrs. Brice's death was the culmination of a long illness. She was 70 years of age and was the mother of ten children, all of whom survive her except one. For more than a half century she had been a devout Christian and a faithful member of the M. E. Church. Most of her life was spent near Hood's Cross Roads, Oneonta, and in North Birmingham. The deceased is survived by her husband, five sons, Dr. Arthur Brice of Forest, Ind.; Lawrence Brice, of West End; Grady Brice, of Bessemer; Will and Vernon Brice, of Birmingham; and four daughters. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. W. Elliott, of Tarrant. The interment was at Old Liberty Cemetery.
