His parents were Arnold August Ferreira (b. 15-SEP-1896 in Azores, Portugal, d. 4-NOV-1986 in Alameda, California, USA), and Virginia Louise Gee (b. 27-JUN-1906 in Alameda, California, USA, d. 5-SEP-1970 in St Helena, Napa, California, USA)

Paul Bernard Ferreira entered into rest at a local hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007. Born on April 11, 1934, to Arnold and Virginia Ferreira, he was 73. Funeral services were held Nov. 18 at Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah with the Veterans Honor Guard performing military honors. Burial took place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon on Nov. 19.
A native of Oakland, Calif., Paul lived on a farm at Little River, having moved there in 1948. He was in the Army Reserve from June 1950 to January 1952, joined the U.S. Air Force in January 1952 and was discharged in December 1955. He was a past member of the American Legion, VFW, DAV, Air Force Assn. He was a long time member of the Korean War Veterans Assn. and volunteered many, many hours at the Ukiah VA Clinic. Paul was a truck driver for a number of years, working in the logging industry in Mendocino County.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Angelique Paulette Ferreira; brother, Robert A. Fraser; sisters, Sarah M. Dios, Carol Dykes, Janet McNeil; niece, Deborah Houlemard; as well as seven other nieces and two nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Paul's memory to Korean War Veterans Assn., Redwood Chapter 176, 1854 McFarlan St., Eureka, CA 95501, or American Heart Assn., Western States Affiliate, Gift Processing Dept., 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
