Mr. Wynn was born on July 27, 1926 in Irwin County and was the son of Lee Wynn and Elnora Wynn, both deceased. He was a member of Tifton's First Baptist Church and a resident of Tift County for over 55 years. In the early years, Mr. Wynn was employed by Williams Brothers Grocery Company and Gordy Salt Company as a salesman. He also spent many years at Tifton Lumber Company before retiring from the University of Georgia Experiment Station in the 1990s. After retirement, Mr. Wynn enjoyed gospel sings, Tift County High School sporting events and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Mr. Wynn is survived by his wife, Martha Haman Wynn of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynn Wynn Blalock and her husband, Randy W. Blalock, of Tifton; three grandchildren, Lindsay Blalock, Whitney Blalock Jorand and her husband, Luke Jordan, and Garrett Blalock; one brother, Harold Wynn of Ocilla; one sister, Martiel Moore of Ocilla; and several nieces and nephews.
