Private family burial will be today, Dec. 22, at South Park Cemetery, for Lenard Morris, 73, of Roswell, who passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 1998. at a local nursing home. Lenard was born March 29, 1925, in Lincoln to Henry and Annie Hazelwood Morris. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Annie Green and Shayna Lenn Morris, both of Roswell; one grandchild; two brothers, J.B. Morris of Roswell and Rueben Morris of Tularosa; and a sister, Clara Bohanon of Roswell. Mr. Morris had lived in the Hondo Valley all of his life and was a rancher. He was of the Baptist faith, and a member of
the Eagles Lodge.
