Melinee Stringer Sprague was born November 9, 1931 in Leakesville Mississippi to Florence Denmark Stringer and Emil Ray Stringer, and passed away March 23, 2024 in Satsuma Alabama.
She will be best remembered for her strong love of her family and of her God, and her many years of service to the church. She as a lifetime member of the UPCI and at the time of her passing was a member of Living Hope of Saraland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Roe Sprague and her daughter, Kristina Sprague Chestang Smith.
She is survived by one son, Donald Wayne Sprague and wife Tobey Sprague; and one daughter, Anelda Lea Sprague Winfield and husband Bruce Winfield; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Living Hope of Saraland. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at Living Hope of Saraland. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Road, Saraland Alabama 36571.
