Sgt. Dwight Rowlett, 26 years old, husband of Hazel L. Rowlett, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rowlett, and brother of Mrs. Gladys Thomas was killed Saturday in a mid-air crash between two four-motored bombers as they were approaching Langley Field for landing. All of the members of Sgt. Rowlett's crew were lost.

Sgt. Rowlett was a gunner. He and his wife, were married three years ago. In a letter she received Saturday her husband told of an expected leave which was to follow his training mission.

Sgt. Rowlett is a graduate of the Buckner High School and was employed by Montgomery Ward & Co. before entering the Army in 1942.
