Claude W. Jenkins, 22, born Feb. 8, 1920 at W. Va., son of George & Bessie (Thomas) Jenkins, and Laura Jane Fudge, 20, born July 5, 1921 at Pa., daughter of Wm. & Emma (Newman) Fudge, were married May 14, 1942 at Phenix City. Laura "Jane" Jenkins, 80, of 215 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, formerly of Penbrook, died Saturday in Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.


She was a member of Penbrook United Church of Christ and the Penbrook Fire Company Auxiliary.


She was the widow of Claude W. Jenkins. Surviving are a son, William L. of Enola; a daughter, Claudia J. Deeney of Hummelstown; a sister, Joyce Knarr of Dover, Del.; five granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.


Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hetrick Funeral Home, Susquehanna Twp. Burial will be in Shoop's Cemetery, Lower Paxton Twp.
