Phebe E. Haviland, 92, formerly of Westminster

Phebe Elizabeth Haviland, 92, of Michigan, formerly of Westminster, died Monday morning, Dec. 18, 2000, at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, Mich. Born July 9, 1908, in Marlton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Agnes M. Lynes Ballinger. She was the wife of Thomas Joshua Haviland, whom she married May 4, 1929, and who died in 1989. She was a homemaker and was a member of Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church. She had also resided in Florida and South Carolina. Surviving are daughters Charlotte Neal of Berrien Springs, Mich., and Alice Love of Westminster; daughter-in-law Charline Haviland of Rockville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to ADRA International, P.O. Box 60808, Washington, DC 20039-9988; or to 3ABN, P.O. Box 220, West Frankfort, IL 62896. Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, Mich., is handling the arrangements.
