Age 92 of West St. Paul, Formerly of Inver Grove Heights and Mendota Heights John passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023. John was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Ruthe, and is survived by his six children. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
John was a jovial people person with many, many friends and acquaintances. He loved nothing better than to invite someone for a visit (and a beer). He enjoyed camping and long walks, his dogs, a good laugh, and an even better prank. He loved cars, whether it was his own or anyone else's.
John will be dearly missed by all but now he has his loving wife again by his side, and has rejoined his siblings and friends (with special mention of the members of the decades-long card club group) that predeceased him.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 27 at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 1405 Sibley Memorial Highway, Mendota. Interment at St. Peter's Church Cemetery.
