Lorraine was born to Leslie and Emeline Southall. She attended Slippery Rock University. Married to Howard Hawn in August 1955. She became a gym teacher at Edgewood Regional H.S. in Atco, New Jersey. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies She is survived by one daughter, one son and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard. She spent the last few years of her life in hospice care.
