EARL E. GANTZ
Earl E. Gantz, 43, died at the Warren, Pa., hospital at 6 p. m. yesterday after an illness of four years.
Mr. Gantz, the son of Mrs. Effie Gantz and the late Warren T. Gantz, was born in Wadsworth, O., on Aug. 29, 1892. The family moved to Farrell in 1901 and Mr. Gantz lived in this vicinity since that time.
Until the time of his illness he was employed as an electric craneman at the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Co., plant, being one of the first employees of the local plant.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth's church, Farrell.
His wife, Mrs. Jennie Songer Gantz, 1013 Fruit-av, Farrell; his mothers, Mrs. Effie Gantz, Fisher Hill, Sharon; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kline, Sharon, and Mrs. Goldie Baker, Cleveland; a sister, Mrs. William Cameron, Sharon, and six brothers, Carl, Guy, Randall, Sterling and Rufford Gantz, Sharon, and Loren, Polk, O., survive.
The body will be removed to the home of his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Songer, Fruit-av, Farrell, Wednesday morning. Solemn high mass will be held at St. Elizabeth's church, Farrell, at 10 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. T. A. Rooney in charge. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth's cemetery.
