"Buster" Wallace G. Alexander Jr., of Albion, Pa., passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012. He was born December 21, 1936. He was a member of the United States Navy and retired from Laborer's Local #603. During his lifetime Buster worked as an Iron Worker, on the Bessemer Railroad, a General Contractor and Landscaper. Buster also enjoyed gardening, perch fishing, hunting and horseshoes. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace, his mother, Bernice, siblings, Richard and Thomas, and a son, David. He is survived by his beloved wife Irene, children, Jared, Erich, Wally, Dale, Chris, Sherri, Valerie and Rhonda, siblings, Sally, Carol, David "Butch" and Celia. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. We will celebrate Buster's life at a memorial gathering on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Albion Fire Hall from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, is handling the funeral arrangements.
