SATURDAY, 16 JANUARY 1988
Lula Everett Blitch, 100, died Thursday in an Albany hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Blitch was a native of Bulloch County but had lived in Albany for the past eight years. She was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. Hagan Sirmans, Albany; one son, Charles G. Blitch, St. Augustine, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. William O. Davis, Savannah; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service and burial will be held today at 1 p.m. at the East Side Cemetery with Elder w. H. Durance officiating. Smith-Tillman Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
