Samuel David Craig Sr., 85 died November 17, 2001, at MS Baptist Medical Center. Services were Monday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with burial in Brandon Memorial Garden.


A native of New Albany, Mr. Craig had lived in Brandon for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II. He retired as organizational director for MS Far Bureau after 30 years of service. He was member of Brandon Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder.


Survivors include: wife, Mavis Craig of Brandon; son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Susan Craig of Plano Texas; and grandchildren, Lori Craig and Stacy Craig, both of Plano Texas.
