From the Burlington Gazette Sep 23, 1852 - On Thursday afternoon last(September 16, 1852), one of the most prominent citizens of that place, Amor W. Archer, Esq., departed this life, in the 51st year of his age. He was for several years a member of the Legislature, and for a long time held the office of Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, and was at the time of his death, a Justice of the Peace, the duties of which office he had performed for upwards of 20 years.
