FORT WORTH — Bessie BlondeII Wright, 86, a religious educator, died Friday, March 14, 1997 in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway Baptist Church. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway Baptist Church.
Bessie Wright was born Dec. 4, 1910, in Augusta, Ga.
She was a native of Augusta, Ga. and a Fort Worth resident since 1945. She was a former teacher at Columbia Bible College in Columbia, S.C. She was on the staff as a religious educator at Broadway Baptist Church, where the nursery in the Children's Building was named in her honor. She was minister to the children for more than 30 years.
Survivors: Brother Edward Wright of Orlando, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
