Albert C. Prignon, April 29, 2023

Albert C. Prignon, 94, of Palmetto, Florida, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning April 29th.

Albert was predeceased by his wife of over 62 years, Betty, in 2016. Albert's parents, Albert H. and Marie; brothers, Joseph, and Lee; and sister Leona preceded him in their heavenly homecoming. Albert was a beloved and cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.

Albert was born in Springdale, PA and was a US Marine Corp veteran who served during the Korean War. After his military service, he relocated with his wife to Baldwinsville where they were long time residents before retiring to Palmetto, FL. Albert was a proud member of the IBEW 1249 Electricians Union in Syracuse, NY and retired after 35 years of service as a Journeyman Lineman.

Albert enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and camping in his younger years and during retirement enjoyed specialty dining, local entertainment, and trying his luck at casinos. Albert was always willing to lend a skilled helping hand to anyone that needed it within his retirement community.

Surviving are sons, Gary (Carleen) and Keith (Marcia); daughter, Rhonda (Alan) Owen; grandchildren, Kara, Alaine, Alyssa (predeceased 2018), Shannon, Katie, AJ, Stephen, Jessica, and Christina; great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Jahsies, Hayden, Avery, Ava, Cameron, Zoey, Gabriel, Theadora, Atlas, Maverick, Skylar, Elliott, and Tucker. Albert and Betty were members of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville for over 50 years.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville, on Wednesday, May 10 at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell, PA on Thursday, May 11 at 2:30 pm.
