Pearl C. Harland, 88, of 2630 Church St. NE, died Friday in a Salem hospital. Born in Missouri, he came to Salem about 52 years ago. He was a retired fireman for the Kay Woolen Mills here and member of Oddfellows and Eagles. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy H. Frahm, Opal Gettman and Lee Myers, all of Salem, Lucille LeBaudour, Santa Clara, Calif.; sisters, Mae Wester, Shelbina, Missouri., Ona Lee Garrison, Shelbyville, Missouri.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Belcrest Chapel. The casket will be open 1-5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Barrick mortuary. Family suggests contributions to the Heart Fund.
