GREENSBORO - William Kohen "Buddy" Allen, 63, of Greensboro, went home to his Lord on Friday, April 6, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, with interment to follow at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro.
He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed drag racing, restoring old cars, and sitting on the porch feeding his squirrels.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.K. Allen.
His immediate survivors are his wife, Becky Allen of the home; daughters, Brenda Woodard of Salisbury, Teresa Long of Greensboro; step-daughter, Pamela Taubman and her husband, Aaron of California; mother, Alma Allen of Greensboro; sisters, Gloria Atkins and her husband, James of Greensboro, Kathy Coggins of Lexington; grandchildren, Christopher Amos, Nikki Royston, Kohen Long, Ashleigh Taubman, Gillian Taubman; his "adopted son", Jason Crawford; and his extended family of nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral chapel. Following the interment, friends may gather at the home of Becky Allen.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
