Sir Eyre Seriously Ill
Sir Eyre Coote, who underwent an operation last week, is seriously ill, and his condition is grave. Sir Eyre Coote is a brother of Lady Northbrook. Sir Eyre Coote, Kt., died at West Park, Hants., aged 68. He was a great grandson of Gen. Sir Eyre Coot., formerly M.P. for Maryboro'. He owned an estate in Leix, and was High Sheriff there in 1886, and High Sheriff of Dublin in 1903. His Irish seat was Portraine, Portlaoighise. [Leinster Reporter - Saturday 16 May 1925, p.1]
