On his death certificate and the Riverview Cemetery Index card, his name is spelled "Lewis."

Louis is listed here as "Lewis" since this is a record of him at the cemetery where he is buried.


CITY EMPLOYE DIES


Lewis C. Caminade, of 245 East

Front Street, an attache of the City

Sewer Department for many years,

died this morning following a long

illness. The funeral will be held

privately from his late home Tues-

day afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends

may view the body Monday night

between 7 and 9 o'clock. Interment

will be in Riverview Cemetery, un-

der the direction of Poulson & Van

Hise. Besides his wife, he is sur-

vived by one daughter, Mrs. Thomas

Lee, of Beverly, N.J., and three

sons, Frederick and William C.

Caminade, of this city, and Clifford

J. Caminade, of Beverly.
