Gloria was employed by General Telephone Company for 19 years before retiring in 1989, as an Administrative Assistant in Supply. Following her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family. For the past several winters she spent time in Quartzite, AZ and Laughlin, NV. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in East Wenatchee since 1961.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry at the family home; a son, Kenneth J. Martin, Wenatchee; a daughter, Laurel Blaisdell and her husband, Brent of Puyallup; and son, Allan J. Martin and his wife, Sue of Olympia; a sister, Marilyn Adams and her husband, David of Renton; two granddaughters, Jennifer Dillion, Puyallup, and PFC Anna K. Martin, Okinawa, Japan; three grandsons, Greg Martin of Seattle, John Martin of Olympia, and Mike Martin of Pullman; and two great-granddaughters, Kyra and Celia; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeffrey Dillion in 2004.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at Evergreen Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Wishing Star Foundation. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
