Lee Homer Parks. My maternal grandfather. Lee Homer Parks served in the U.S. Cavalry from 1910 to 1913 at Ft. Riley Kansas and in the Phillipines and was promoted to the rank of Seargent. He was also a volunteer fireman at Wabash Indiana (a horse drawn fire engine), a policeman at Ft. Wayne Indiana, a conductor on the Ft. Wayne trolley system and worked for the Wabash RR and the village of Montpelier Ohio.
