Robert E. Delaney, 73, of Brockton, died peacefully Dec. 16, 2016 after a brief illness. Bob was a machinist by trade. He played drums and taught drum corps, enjoyed playing golf, and was proud of his family. Bob was the son of the late Alice Lee and Roy Delaney; husband of the late Maureen A. (Raftery) Delaney; beloved father of Robert E. Delaney Jr. of Norton, Laura L. Boyd (and Robert) of Bridgewater, Lisa M. Kardoose of Easton and Leeanne Delaney of Bridgewater; loving grandfather of Katrina, Kari, Kelly and Jared Fula, Hannah Boyd. Jenna and Nicholas Kardoose, and Taylor Escudero; great-grandfather of Roman Fula; and brother of Carolyn LaCombe of Florida and the late Rene Pavlicek of Calif.
