Her parents and sisters were sailing on the R.M.S. Titanic when it struck an iceberg and sank. Her Father, Edwy, went down with Titanic. Her mother, who was pregnant with Edwyna at the time, and 2 sisters were rescued from a lifeboat and survived. They returned to England.

According to Ancestry documents Edwyna married Clarence Patrick Erskine-Lindop (1920-2001) in 1941. They had no children.

Some Ancestry Records have her date of death as May 11, 1969 and others have her date of death as June 1969.

Family Search website (LDS) information on her is not well written and is confusing and misleading. The information on Family Search is taken from the British Newspaper announcement of her wedding to Clarence Patrick Erskine-Lindop and it appears that the way it is documented on Family Search gives or allows for incorrect family connection and name association to occur. It has a father and mother listed as Erskine-Lindop and this is for her fiancé, Clarence Patrick Erskine-Lindop, and not for herself. Family Search does list her correct parents name, Edwy and Mrs West. I believe this is the reason why the other FAG site has Lindop as her maiden name which incorrect.

This is a 2nd FAG for this person.
