KIA, South Vietnam. Funeral service for Sgt. Roy Donald Hutting, 19, of 2171 Club House Road, Yacht Club Colony was held , Oct. 1, 1966, at 2 p.m. from the Harvey Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene F. Helms, pastor of St. Michael Lutheran Church officiating. U. S. Army 575th Engineers Platoon of Fort Stewart, Ga., bestowed full military honors at the graveside of Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Hutting was killed in Vietnam when the personnel carrier he was in ran over a roadside mine. He served with the 25th Infantry Division. Surviving besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ebert M. Long Jr., are a brother, Richard A. Hutting of Orlando, a half brother, Herman Hutting III, who is in the Army in Vietnam, two sisters, Mrs. James Langford of Eau Gallie and Mrs. Frank Gartiser of Emerson, N.J., and his grandmother, Mrs. Elise Matthews of Fort Myers.
