Dean J Borland, 65, of the Northway Trailer Park, West Monroe, died Saturday morning in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse, after a long illness. Mr Borland was born in Evans Mills, the son of Harold E. and Verna Borland. He had lived in Central Square-West Monroe area for 32 years and was employed as a sheet metal worker at Crouse-Hinds before retiring in 1979. He was a World War II Army veteran, and married the former Florence Davis on Sept 15, 1942 in Theresa, NY.
