Johnny Lee Norseworthy began his journey through life on August 18, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas the son of William Andrew and Rita Lee (Solenburg) Norseworthy. He was one of six children to bless the home.

Johnny was brought up in a time when school was not a priority over working and taking care of family. He was very loyal and successful at both, raising a family of two girls and two boys, with his beautiful bride Margie Ann (Wright) Norseworthy, and working as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Tahlequah for 30 years. Johnny worked hard to support his family, but always took the time to slow down and enjoy life's blessings as they passed by. From setting on his favorite fishing spot at Sequoyah State Park, to riding around on the mower with the grandbabies. Johnny was content with the life God had provided for him. A Christian by faith he was a member of Faith Chapel, and loved listening to his wife read the bible to him. Johnny had a quiet side, and after all the lawn mower rides, he could be found watching one of his favorite westerns or jumping in the car for one of his visits to Lawton, or when he lived in Lawton, visiting Tahlequah. Either way he always took the opportunity to go catch up with old friends. He is an amazing husband, father, and grandfather that will never be replaced. On September 21, 2023, Johnny found rest from his labors in the loving hands of God, as he left this journey behind in Tahlequah, Oklahoma surrounded by family and loved ones.

Those that finished the journey before him include his parents, one daughter, Janie Lavon Norseworthy, one brother Billy Ray Norseworthy, one sister, Ruby Windel Lawson, one sister-in-law Barbara Norseworthy, and three brother-in-laws William Lawson, Dub Dees and Kenneth Stewart.
