Beachy.- Susie Bontrager, was born at White Pigeon, Mich., June 30, 1899; died at Mennonite Friendship Manor, Jan. 19, 1989; aged 89 y. On Apr. 15, 1920, she was married to David Beachy, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Vernon, Alvin, and Dave), 2 daughters (Mary Ellen Diener and Nina Lee Reber), 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 brothers (Jerry, William, and LeRoy Bontrager). She was a member of Yoder Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Jan. 21, in charge of Don Patterson, Calvin King, and Daniel Kauffman; interment in Yoder Mennonite Church Cemetery.Gospel Herald March 21, 1989
