Betty M. Lashmit, 67, of 202 Maplewood Drtive, died at 2:20 p.m. Monday in Michiana Community Hospital, South Bend,Indiana after an illness. Mrs. Lashmit was born May 19,1924, in Findlay, Ohio, and had lived in Mishawaka since 1957. On June 6, 1950, in North Baltimore, Ohio, as Betty DeRhodes, she married Paul E. Lashmit, He survives with a daughter, Cheryl Lashmit of Mishawaka: two sons, Paul of Elkhart and David of Mishawaka; two grandchildren: four sisters, Lucille Grilliot of Baltimore,Ohio, Esther Creps of Tontogany,Ohio, Martha Briggs of Findlay, Ohio and Margrett Killinger of Santa Monica, Calif.: and a brother, Junior Dindal of Hollywood, Calif. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse, Osceola and Pentecostal Ladies Auxiliary.
Services will be at 1pm Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N.Main St. Entombment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
