Patricia, known to all who loved her as Patty, was laid to rest with her beloved husband, Galen, who was laid to rest on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at the Eagle Point National VA Cemetery near Medford, Oregon, on Thursday, May 15, 2008. She passed away Friday, May 9, 2008, following a short battle with a recurrence of colon cancer.
Three weeks before Mr. Pumphrey passed away from complications of pneumonia. They will be missed by all who knew them throughout their lives.
Surviving family members are: Kim SunYe Parks of Kodiak, Alaska; Teresa and Andrew Combs of Hayward, California; Stephen and Claudia Parks of Greenback, Tennessee; Lloyd and Yuko Pumphrey of Portland, Oregon; Jonathan and Spring Pumphrey of Seattle, Washington; Melisa and Ronald Brown of Norfolk, Virginia; Robert and Treyran Pumphrey of Redhook, New York; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
