ROY L. ARROWOOD
Roy L. Arrowood, 70, of 2120 S.E. Ninth St., died of a heart attack Tuesday at Mercy Hospital. He had been ill several years.
A lifelong Des Moines resident, Mr. Arrowood was a retired cement finisher.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grandview Funeral Home, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Arrowood is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Porter, Mrs. Bernice Martin, Mrs. Naomi Halsted and Mrs. Mary Ann Shineflew; a brother, Earl; a half-brother, William Joy; and a sister, Mrs. Irene Thompson, all of Des Moines; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
