Mr. Ingram was born July 26, 1930, in Locust Grove, to Evertt and Hattie (Cisco) Ingram. He passed from this life on Monday, January 22, 2001, in Locust Grove.
He grew up and attended school in the Locust Grove area. He married Bonnie Marie Pitts on December 26, 1951, in Benton, Arkansas. He entered the U.S. Army on March 16, 1951, and served during the Korean War. He also worked as a chef at Fort Lewis, Washington before he was honorably discharged a Corporal on November 23, 1956. Except for his time in the service, he was a lifetime resident of the Locust Grove area. He worked for many years in construction, retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Laborers Union in Tulsa. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by four sons, Jerry Ingram and wife Tanna, Gary Ingram and wife Judy, Tommy Ingram and wife Debbie, and Billy Joe Ingram, all of Locust Grove; one daughter, Brenda Teehee Dickinson and husband Guy of Tahlequah; two brothers, Jim Ingram of Tulsa and Kelly Ingram of Inola; one sister, Vinnie Nantz of Owasso; as well as ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents; his wife Bonnie; brothers Frank, Bill, Jess, J.B., Arch, and Nick Ingram; son Everett Dale Ingram, infant twins, and son-in-law Jerry Teehee.
