Funeral services for Dwight Bedwell, 66, of 1422 E. Jefferson, Des Moines, were held this morning in the Overton Funeral Home.
Mr. Bedwell died shortly after being admitted to Mercy Hospital Thursday evening.
Born near Spring Hill, he lived there until moving to Des Moines about 35 years ago. He was a production worker at Solar Aircraft until it closed. Mr. Bedwell was blind all his life.
There are no immediate survivors. The following are surviving cousins: Merrill Andrew and Hillis Andrew of Indianola, Miss Caroline Andrew of Colfax, Mrs. Norma Salisbury of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Howard Bedwell of California.
Interment will be in Webb Cemetery near Spring Hill.
