Mr. Danny Paul "Red" Brewer
November 19, 2007 07-297 Mr. Danny Paul "Red" Brewer, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, November 19, 2007 at his home.
Red was born May 20, 1947 in Loudon County, Tennessee, a son of the late Paul Elden "Pickie" and Hazel Louise Chrisman Brewer. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kyle Brewer.
He has been employed at Shaw Industries Plant #3 for over thirty-four years. He was a member of the Bell Avenue Baptist Church in Lenoir City, TN.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Kristy Brewer of Calhoun, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Twana and Alvin McClure of Rocky Face, GA; grandchildren, Jeremy Brewer, Lake Brewer, Whitney McClure and Tyler McClure; great-grandchild, J. Dun Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Barbara Brewer of Chatsworth, GA, and Clyde and Maxine Brewer of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy Rolen and Pete Burke of Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Danny Paul "Red" Brewer will be held Wednesday morning, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Brown officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Lenoir City Cemetery in Lenoir City, TN, with Claude Marley, Jessie Marley, Robert Rolen, Charles Rolen, Alex Smith and Steven Craig serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
