Mrs. Agnes Zehner, eighty-four years old and resident of Monterey all of her adult life, died early Wednesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Herman Faulstich of Monterey. She had been ill for several weeks, Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at nine o'clock at St. Anne's Church in Monterey, with the Rev. Charles Remaklus officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery. The body will be removed Thursday afternoon from the Kennedy-Braman funeral home to her home at Monterey, where the rosary will be recited at eight o'clock Friday night. Mrs. Zehner was born Nov. 6, 1874, in Allen county, and she came here from Fort Wayne. She was a pioneer member of St. Anne's Church. Her husband, Edward Zehner, died twenty-three years ago. Surviving besides the daughter mentioned are five other children - Anthony Zehner and Mrs. Clara Mahler of Monterey, Francis Zehner of Knox, Mrs. Mary Smith of New Port Richie, Fla., Mrs. Madeline Keller of North Judson; twenty - seven grandchildren and forty-three great-grandchildren. Four children proceeded her in death.

Final rites for Mrs. Agnes Zehner, 84, will be at nine o'clock Saturday at St. Anne's church, Monterey. The Reverend Father Charles Ramaklus will officiate and burial will be in St. Anne's cemetery. Friends may call until this afternoon at the Kennedy and Braman funeral home here. The body then will be taken to Mrs. Zehner's home in Monterey where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday. Her death, after a several weeks' illness, occurred Wednesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Anna Faulstich, Monterey. Born Nov. 6, 1874, in Allen County, she spent most of her life in Monterey. Survivors include two sons and four daughters: Anthony, Monterey; Francis, Knox; Mrs. Anna Faulstich and Mrs. Clara Mahler, Monterey; Mrs. Madeline Keller, North Judson; Mrs. Mary Smith, New Port Richie, Fla.; 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Edward, and four children preceded her in death.
