She married Pleatius Gorden McCaghren, a son of Henry Miles McCaghren and V. Martha Mullican McCaghren.

HARTSELLE -- A funeral for Mrs. Laddies McCaghren, 70, Rt. 5, Decatur, was Saturday at Neel Baptist Church, the Rev. Jack Freeman officiating. Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. McCaghren died Friday at her residence.

Surviving are one step-son, Cecil McCaghren, Danville; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Kirby, Hartselle, Mrs. Linda Swindell, Rt. 5, Decatur, Mrs. Emma Pike, Rt. 2, Hartselle; one brother, W. J. Mullican, Rt. 5, Decatur; four step-grandchildren.
