John Marshall Love, 77, a resident of Arnold, MD for over 43 years, died suddenly of heart failure at Anne Arundel Medical Center on May 22, 2008.

Mr. Love was born on March 5, 1931 in Baltimore, MD where he was also raised. He was a graduate of Loyola University where he majored in History. Mr. Love was a retired fundraiser for Non Profit Organizations.

He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was member of the Franciscans 3rd Order and he was very active in the church and school community while his children were growing up.

He is survived by his wife Virginia H. Love, whom he married on Jan. 22, 1955; two sons, John Marshall Love, Jr. of Edgewater, MD and Christopher Love of Fairfax, VA; three daughters, Jacqueline Love Neil of Arnold, MD, Mary Love Kaulius and Beth Love Sherwood, both of Severna Park, MD; one sister, Clara Fisher of Baltimore, MD and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James H. Love and his brother, Richard D. Love, Jr.
