B. F. Snow, our popular J. P., has been appointed local registrar of vital statistics for this township. so hereafter. If any one wants to marry, be born, or be buried, he will have to get a permit first from him. We are glad Uncle Ben got this important office, for he is one of our best citizens, a jovial fellow and a good smoker.--Snowball Correspondent of the Marshall Republican.
Still the joy at the appointment is overshadowed by the fear that Uncle Ben will work himself to death attending to his duties.
