Harold was the middle of three children born to Willis Glen Willis and Mary/Mae L. (Dinsmore) Chapman. He married Catherine (unknown) approx. 1946 and they had two daughters: Barbara and Margie.

Memorial services for Harold W. Chapman, 81, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Riverside. He died Monday of complications of pneumonia at Parkview Community Hospital in Riverside.
Burial will be in Olivewood Memorial Park in Riverside.
Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside is handling arrangements.
Mr. Chapman was a lifelong resident of Riverside. He was a self-employed certified public accountant for more than 40 years before he retired in 1996.
He served in the U. S. Army in the finance division during World War II and the Korean War, before he was discharged with the rank of master sergeant.
Mr. Chapman graduated from Riverside Poly High School in 1936. He attended Riverside Community College and received his bachelor's degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1941.
He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church and a charter member of Uptown Riverside Kiwanis Club.
Mr. Chapman enjoyed camping, model trains and being a Dodgers baseball fan.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Catherine; two daughters, Barbara Chapman and Margi Jacobson, both of Riverside; three grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Thomas of Laguna Beach and Susannah Dahil of Jefferson, Ore.; and a brother, Orville of Jefferson.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the memorial fund at First Baptist Church.
